Marino Brnardić

I build for the web.

Front-end leaning full-stack developer based in Zadar, Croatia — roughly a decade in. I like small, well-specified apps: write the spec, build the thing, keep it maintainable. Lately that means Next.js and Supabase; before that, a lot of Vue.

I came to development through design rather than around it — a media communications degree from Maribor, mostly interface work: prototyping, design systems, and sitting people in front of a screen to find out what actually confuses them. It's why I'm comfortable taking a Figma file apart.

  • Authland

A marketplace for local experiences across Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina — food tours, wine tastings, boat trips, guided excursions. Three applications divide the business between them: a Spring Boot and Vue back office where providers create and manage the experiences they offer, a Laravel and Vue storefront where travellers browse and book them, and a Filament app that lets resorts and camps aggregate the activities available to their guests in one place.

  • Let's Jetty

A group trip planning app: invitations and RSVPs, a travel preferences survey, accommodation selection, and activities added to a shared itinerary everyone can see. Installable as a PWA, with changes pushed over websockets so a group editing the same trip stays in sync. The work here was the app itself — the marketing site that describes it was built separately.

  • Personal Workout Log

A workout logger built around a fixed two-day split. Set-by-set entry with typed set roles (top set, back-off, normal), warmup weights suggested from the previous session, and progress charts. Built to a written spec first, with auth, row-level security and offline support via a service worker.

  • Screenshot Automation Tool

A Node pipeline for visual review of whole websites. It pulls a site's sitemap.xml, extracts every URL, screenshots each page with Puppeteer, compiles the lot into a single PDF, uploads it to Azure Blob Storage and pushes it into Filestage for sign-off. URL parameters trigger specific page states, like opening the cookie dialog.
